Royal Rajasthan Group Tour with Jaisalmer Desert Stay

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrival in Jaipur, the Pink City

   Pickup from Jaipur airport or station and hotel check-in. Evening visit to Birla Mandir and a stroll through Johari Bazaar, then a welcome Rajasthani dinner. Overnight in Jaipur.

2. Day 2

   Jaipur sightseeing: Amer Fort and the old city

   Morning at Amer Fort with a photo stop at Jal Mahal. Afternoon at Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Jantar Mantar. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.

3. Day 3

   Jaipur to Jodhpur, the Blue City

   Drive about 340 km (6 hours) to Jodhpur. Evening at the Clock Tower and Sardar Market for spices and bandhej. Overnight in Jodhpur.

4. Day 4

   Mehrangarh Fort, then on to Jaisalmer

   Morning at Mehrangarh Fort and the white marble Jaswant Thada. Drive about 285 km (5 hours) across the Thar to Jaisalmer. Overnight in Jaisalmer.

5. Day 5

   Jaisalmer Fort and a night at Sam Sand Dunes

   Walk the living Sonar Qila, Patwon ki Haveli and Gadisar Lake. Afternoon drive to the Sam dunes for a camel ride at sunset, folk music and dinner by the fire. Overnight in the desert camp.

6. Day 6

   Desert sunrise, departure from Jaisalmer

   Watch the sun come up over the dunes, breakfast at camp, then drop at Jaisalmer railway station or airport. Trip ends.
