Hanoi & Ha Long Bay, Overnight Cruise Holiday

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrival in Hanoi, water puppets

   Pickup from Noi Bai airport and check-in in the Old Quarter. Walk around Hoan Kiem Lake to Ngoc Son Temple, then a traditional water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.

2. Day 2

   Hanoi city tour and street food walk

   Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature and Train Street. Evening street food walk for pho, bun cha and egg coffee. Overnight in Hanoi.

3. Day 3

   Board the Ha Long Bay overnight cruise

   Drive about 2.5 hours to Ha Long and board your cruise. Kayak at Luon Cave and climb Ti Top Island for sunset. Lunch and dinner are served on board. Overnight on the cruise.

4. Day 4

   Sung Sot Cave and back to Hanoi

   Tai chi on the sundeck, a visit to Sung Sot Cave and brunch while sailing back. Return to Hanoi by afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi.

5. Day 5

   Ninh Binh day trip

   Drive about 2 hours to Ninh Binh for a rowing boat ride through the caves of Trang An, the old capital at Hoa Lu and the climb to Mua Cave viewpoint. Overnight in Hanoi.

6. Day 6

   Departure from Hanoi

   Breakfast and transfer to Noi Bai airport. Trip ends.
