Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Kathgodam to Nainital, Naini Lake

   Pickup at Kathgodam station and drive 35 km (1.5 hours) up to Nainital. Boating on Naini Lake, Naina Devi Temple and an evening on Mall Road. Overnight in Nainital.

2. Day 2

   Kainchi Dham darshan

   Early start for Neem Karoli Baba Ashram at Kainchi Dham (17 km) to beat the queue. Return via the Bhowali fruit market, then ride the cable car to Snow View Point. Overnight in Nainital.

3. Day 3

   Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal and Sattal lakes

   Lakes day to Bhimtal, nine-cornered Naukuchiatal and the quiet forest lakes of Sattal. Prefer wildlife? Swap this day for a Jim Corbett jeep safari, about 2 hours away. Overnight in Nainital.

4. Day 4

   Tiffin Top walk and departure

   Optional morning walk to Tiffin Top, breakfast, then drop at Kathgodam station or Pantnagar airport. Trip ends.
