Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Arrival at Kathgodam, on to Nainital

   Students and teachers are met at Kathgodam station and driven to Nainital for lunch and a safety briefing. Life-jacket boating on Naini Lake and a supervised Mall Road walk. Dinner and overnight in Nainital.

2. Day 2

   Snow View, High Altitude Zoo and ARIES

   Cable car to Snow View Point, the Himalayan animals at Nainital High Altitude Zoo, and an evening sky-watching session at the ARIES observatory (booked in advance). All meals included. Overnight in Nainital.

3. Day 3

   Nainital to Jim Corbett via Kaladhungi

   Drive about 65 km (2.5 hours) to Ramnagar, stopping at Jim Corbett's house museum in Kaladhungi. Afternoon at Corbett Falls, then a nature talk and bonfire at the resort. Overnight near Corbett.

4. Day 4

   Jungle safari and departure

   Early canter safari in the Jhirna zone with a naturalist, breakfast, photo stop at Garjiya Devi temple, then drop at Ramnagar or Kathgodam station. Trip ends.
